P17 Sporterized Bolt Action Rifle 30-06 Sprigfield - Made in USA

This one has a RE in a circlestamp on Receiver. The Barrel has an R plus some other proof marks..

Gun is in a one peice cut-down Military hardwood Stock. Has original military steel butt plate
Stock has some marks and dents but no cracks.

Barrel is 25 inches long with dog ear front sights. Rear sight is typical flip up adjustable Enfield sight
Bluing is dull all over at about 50%. There is some evidence of surface pitting to bolt.
Bolt number does not match barrel number.
Bore is dark with some rifling evident.

Overall condition is 5/10 - could do with a good scrub.
